Salary: $70,000 - 110,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. You should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant Epic application support experience, ideally within a healthcare or hospital setting. A demonstrated understanding of patient registration, admission, discharge, transfer (ADT), and eligibility workflows is essential. We expect strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills, along with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams. The following certifications are mandatory: Epic Grand Central and Epic Prelude. Epic Real-Time Eligibility (RTE) certification is preferred, and additional Epic certifications or cross-certifications would be considered a bonus.

• In this role, I will provide daily management, maintenance, and support for the Epic Grand Central, Prelude, and RTE applications. I will partner with clinical and administrative stakeholders to comprehend business needs and translate them into effective Epic workflows and configurations. I will design, test, implement, and enhance system functionalities in accordance with BCH change management standards. I will troubleshoot and resolve application and integration issues, escalating complex concerns when necessary. Participating in system upgrades, validation, and optimization efforts to ensure ongoing system reliability and efficiency will be key responsibilities. I will develop and maintain thorough system documentation, workflow diagrams, and support materials. Additionally, I will collaborate closely with the training team and operational leaders to facilitate the smooth adoption of new functionalities. I will also provide tier-two support, working with the Service Desk and other IS teams to ensure timely resolution of issues. Being part of a 24/7 on-call rotation and participating in scheduled maintenance activities will be required. I will support continuous improvement and standardization initiatives across Epic modules and BCH departments.

We value experience in an academic medical center or pediatric healthcare environment. An understanding of Epic integration points, interface workflows, and the impacts on downstream systems is beneficial. Knowledge of HL7 standards and healthcare data exchange is important, as is prior experience with project coordination or participation in Epic upgrade cycles.
