Daybreak Dental is excited to announce an opening for a committed and skilled Registered Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. This Full-Time position is an excellent opportunity for a dental professional seeking to advance their career in a supportive and thriving environment. Please note that this position is not eligible for remote work arrangements and requires on-site presence at our facility.

We are looking for an outstanding Dental Assistant who possesses a passion for patient care and a desire to provide exceptional service. The ideal candidate will be a proactive team player with the ability to handle dental care tasks efficiently under the guidance of our dentists. This role involves direct patient interaction and contributes significantly to the first-class dental care we are known for. With a structured format in place, the selected candidate will work alongside seasoned professionals, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to our collective goal of premium dental health.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
  • Manage dental and radiographic imaging.
  • Ensure operation of dental equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
  • Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Prepare treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
  • Educate patients by giving oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative instructions.
  • Document dental care services by charting in patient records.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of chairside dental assisting experience.
  • Registered Dental Assistant certification is required (Texas).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with proficiency in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus!
  • Experience with Invisalign and iTero preferred.
  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proven dedication to providing high-quality, empathetic patient care.
  • Implant experience is considered an asset.
  • Availability to work Monday from 9:30am-6:30pm and Tuesday-Friday from 7:30am-4:30pm.
  • Compensation range: $24-28 per hour, depending on experience.
