Step Into the Build: A Day in Tualatin

When you arrive at our Tualatin, OR facility, you’ll turn a collection of precision parts into a finished, high‑performing product. You’ll study drawings, stage components, and methodically assemble mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical elements into a cohesive system. Along the way, you’ll double‑check tolerances, document what you’ve completed, and collaborate with teammates to keep quality at the forefront.

What You’ll Do

• Assemble complex subassemblies and final systems directly from engineering drawings and specifications.
• Verify fit, alignment, and function; perform in‑process and final quality checks to meet strict standards.
• Team up with peers and engineering to diagnose and resolve build or performance issues quickly.
• Maintain a neat, safe work area to support efficient, accurate assembly work.
• Record build steps, note deviations, and escalate discrepancies to leadership.
• Contribute ideas to improve assembly methods and throughput via continuous improvement efforts.

What You’ll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; a technical certificate or degree is a plus.
• Hands‑on experience in mechanical assembly or a closely related trade.
• Keen attention to detail and a practical approach to problem solving.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and build instructions.
• Comfort and competence with hand and power tools; you will bring your own tools including items such as drive socket sets, open‑end wrenches, screwdrivers, a tri-square, nut drivers, die grinders, and impact tools.
• Background using jib and overhead cranes is strongly preferred.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs consistently; able to access tight spaces; comfortable with heights and confined areas; frequent stooping, kneeling, and climbing.
