Dietary Aide position overview and responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of meals and snacks.
Clean foods, cut, chop, measure, prep, etc. as necessary. Prepare the dining area for meal service.
Assist with plating and serving meals in a manner that is palatable and appetizing for clients.
Serve the appropriate meals and portions to the clients in the dining room
Return all dishes and service items after meal service is completed
Assist in the cleaning and sanitation of kitchen and dining room areas
Receive grocery and supply deliveries and ensure proper stocking of supplies

Dietary Aide Qualifications:

A current health card issued by the State of Nevada .
Ability to effectively communicate with team members and clients. Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English in order to ensure accurate communication and documentation.
Perform job duties in a professional manner
Strong interpersonal skills - work well with a diverse range of individuals.
Customer-service approach to work.
Ability to stand for the majority of the shift. Ability to travel through the work area. Ability to bend, squat, reach, grasp, hold, lift, and carry up to 20 pounds.
