This is a job opening for an Elementary Classroom Aide/Monitor Aide position, which falls under the Support Staff contract. This position starts and end the day at another elementary school; however, will work at Lingle Avenue Elementary during the day. This position will begin February 17, 2026 or after.



Job Overview:
The classroom aide/monitor aide will assist classroom teachers with small groups of students and their instruction designed by the teacher, supervise students throughout the school day to include lunch and recess coverage, perform clerical tasks, and other duties as assigned by building principal. This position will ride the internal shuttle bus back and forth from an elementary school to Lingle Avenue Elementary with kindergarten students.



Qualifications:

• High school diploma required, college degree preferred.
• Demonstrated or prior experience working with children, and excellent organization and communication skills.

Additional Information:

• Current minimum starting rate of $14.14 - $15.66 per hour; credit may be given for relevant experience.
• No district paid health benefits. A $500 healthcare stipend is provided in June at the completion of each contractual year.
