McKinnon Home Furnishings in Palatka, FL is looking for one delivery driver/furniture loader/sorter /customer service to join our strong team. We are located on 237 N Hwy 17. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and reliable.

Starting Salary: Starting pay $15 per hour.

JOB MISSION

All McKinnon Home Furnishing (MHF) associates are tasked to ensure our business operates smoothly and provides outstanding customer service. Educated with expert product knowledge, they utilize proper techniques to assist customers throughout every step of the transaction process, always positively representing the McKinnon Home Furnishings (MHF) brand.

Major Accountabilities

Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license and able to meet MHF driver requirements.

• Always operate vehicles in a safe and courteous manner.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays weekends and evenings.
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills

Requirements For Success

· High School Diploma/GED preferred.

· Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.

· Should be a people person!

· Not afraid to engage/start conversation with customers.

· Present yourself in a friendly and professional manner.

· Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.

· Demonstrated ability to flourish in a team environment.

· Ability to quickly perform basic math.

· Willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include weekends and holidays.

· Preparing/loading/delivery of merchandise onto trucks for transport and successfully delivering goods to customers while providing a professional and hassle-free experience.

· Conduct and complete inventory counts to identify and protect company assets.

· Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

· Provide outstanding customer service to all clients.

· Contributing to a positive, productive, and cohesive work environment.

· Assist in merchandising and relocating products instore/warehouse.

· Prior experience in lifting, loading, unloading and/or assembling furniture preferred.

· Ability to read ID Labels, shipping tickets, SKU and stock numbers required.

· Stand for extended periods of time; climb ladders occasionally; climb and descend stairs frequently (depending on location).

· Ability to: lift 25 lbs. frequently; lift maximum 50 lbs. occasionally; kneel or squat frequently; move boxes of product up to 250 lbs. (with assistance if necessary).
