Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Position Location: Clarksville, TN Job Type: Travel Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4x10s Days Pay: $2788/week Completion Bonus: Up to $7,500 total. (You will receive $2,500 after the successful completion of each of your first 3 contracts with us) Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and critical-thinking Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) Registered Nurse (RN) to join our specialized procedural team. This crucial role involves caring for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, such as coronary angiography, angioplasty, stenting, and structural heart interventions. The Cath Lab RN is responsible for patient monitoring, circulating, documentation, and the administration of medications and moderate sedation. The ideal candidate has deep cardiac knowledge, is proficient in interpreting complex rhythms, and thrives in a high-tech, urgent procedural environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert patient care before, during, and immediately after cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Administer and titrate conscious sedation/analgesia while continuously monitoring the patient's hemodynamic status and cardiac rhythm.
• Serve as a circulating and/or scrub nurse, assisting the cardiologist and technologists during complex cases.
• Manage access site hemostasis and care for patients post-procedure, including sheath removal and monitoring for complications.
• Maintain a sterile field and ensure the proper functioning and inventory of specialized cath lab equipment.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including pre-procedure education and assessment.
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations, including acute myocardial infarction and cardiac arrest.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in Tennessee.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, or Critical Care (ICU/CCU) nursing experience.
• Strong competency in advanced EKG interpretation and cardiac pharmacology.
• COVID vaccine and recent TB test may be required.
