Akkodis is seeking a Snowflake/ETL Developer for a Contract with a client in Stamford, CT. The ideal candidate must have deep expertise in Snowflake, SQL/Python, and experience architecting data pipelines across cloud environments.
Rate Range: $49/hour to $54/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Snowflake/ETL Developer job responsibilities include:
Design and develop scalable ETL solutions to integrate and transform data across multiple sources for data lakes, marts, and warehouses.
Perform data analysis and profiling using data cataloging and quality tools to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Develop scripts and workflows using SQL and Python for data extraction, transformation, and loading into Snowflake.
Architect and optimize data pipelines on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) ensuring performance and reliability.
Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements, prepare technical design documents, and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
Provide production support and manage change processes using tools like ServiceNow and Agile platforms (JIRA), including UAT execution and status reporting.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
10+ years of IT experience with strong focus on ETL development and data management.
Proficiency in Snowflake and advanced SQL/Python for designing and optimizing ETL pipelines.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and ability to architect scalable data solutions.
