Job Description

Forklift experience needed. The Clerk is responsible for safely and efficiently wrapping pallets, coordinating shipments, within a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled warehouse environment. This role involves operating equipment such as forklifts and electric pallet jacks, ensuring proper supplies are stocked, labeling pallets for shipment, and assisting other team members with order checking and fulfillment. The Lead must also be capable of performing basic administrative tasks related to shipping and receiving, ensuring orders are correctly labeled, loaded, and prepared for delivery. In the absence of the Warehouse Manager, the Lead will be responsible for the warehouse employees.

• Lift up to 50 lbs and walk/stand for extended periods.
• Operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts to transport and wrap pallets.
• Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, ensure supplies like paper, labels, cardboard, and stretch film are stocked weekly.
• Check and organize pack slips, ensuring all items and invoices are correct for customer orders.
• Label and stage pallets with accurate store names, pallet counts, and staging areas.
• Oversee the coordination of incoming and outgoing orders with truck drivers and loaders.
• Ensure LTL shipments are properly wrapped, labeled, and documented.
• Perform weekly maintenance on the pallet wrapper.
• Act as fill-in Warehouse Supervisor when needed, ensuring all operations are conducted safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all warehouse doors are locked, and lights are turned off at the end of the day.
