Job Description

Salary: $124,000 - 250,000 per year Requirements:

• A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) is typically required, along with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience as a Software Architect.
• Proficiency in developing software using Java or C++.
• Familiarity with cloud environments and Kubernetes.
• Experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, or Kafka.
• An active and transferable Top Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is mandated before the start date, with the ability to secure a TS/SCI clearance as well. U.S. citizenship is a requirement since only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the modernization efforts for the program’s baseline.
• Provide technical guidance and design to agile development teams and other engineering staff.
• Mentor both senior and junior engineers.
• Generate estimates for software costs and schedules to aid future development proposals using techniques like parametric analysis of Software Lines of Code (SLOC), hours, or other metrics.
