Short Description

MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper a partnership between MD Anderson Cancer Center and Cooper University Health Care is seeking a board-certified/board-eligibleRadiation Oncologistto join our growing multidisciplinary cancer program in southern New Jersey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality evidence-based radiation therapy for a diverse adult oncology population
• Collaborate closely with surgical oncologists medical oncologists radiologists and pathologists in disease-specific multidisciplinary clinics and tumor boards
• Utilize state-of-the-art technology including Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators Aria/Eclipse treatment planning Gamma Knife Icon HDR brachytherapy and SBRT/SRS programs
• Participate in clinical trials through our MD Anderson Cancer Network partnership and NRG Oncology
• Contribute to resident and medical student education (academic appointment available through Cooper Medical School of Rowan University)
• Engage in quality improvement research and scholarly activity commensurate with experience and interest

Education Requirements

MD or DO with successful completion of an ACGME-accredited radiation oncology residency

Experience Required

Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork

License/Certification Requirements

Board certified or board eligible (ABR)

Eligible for medical licensure in New Jersey
