Responsibilities
Lead and mentor an Agile development team in building and enhancing components of the HHS Data Integration Hub.
Acquire and integrate data from multiple data sources including Oracle, SQL Server, Excel, Access, and PDF.
Develop complex SQL scripts (Oracle/Snowflake) to transform data into dimensional models, including views and materialized views.
Build and automate ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter / IICS to extract, transform, and load data into analytical structures.
Validate and verify SQL code, Informatica workflows, and database objects to ensure performance, accuracy, and reliability.
Implement automated testing and validation routines for ETL workflows and data pipelines.
Collaborate with Architects and Data Engineering teams to design optimal data acquisition and integration strategies.
Participate in all Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, refinement, daily standups, retrospectives).
Create mockups, work with end-users for validation, and incorporate business requirements into technical solutions.
Produce and maintain technical documentation including specifications, diagrams, and mapping documents.
Analyze evolving business requirements, evaluate impact, and propose enhancements to data models and ETL pipelines.
Assist in implementing development tools, resolving technical issues, and supporting production operations as needed.
