We have immediate per diem (PRN) shifts available for the following position: Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum Registered Nurse in Newark, NJ.

Requirements

  • Required Certifications: BLS, AWHONN Beginner, NRP
  • Required Skills: Level 1 Nursery, Postpartum, Administration of blood & blood products, Starting and maintaining IVs, Antihypertensives, Assist with Circumcision/Assess site post-op, Car Seat Education, Cord Care, Discharge teaching to parents, Infant Identification, Metabolic Screen, Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, Newborn Assessment, Phototherapy, Teach Circumcision care to parents, Thermoregulation, Bladder assessment/Foley Catheter Insertion, Breast feeding instructions, Couplet Care, Episiotomy / incision care, Fundus / lochia / perineum care, Use of electric/ manual breast feeding pump, Vaginal Delivery, Cesarean Section, Multiple Births, Postpartum Hemorrhage, Pregnancy induced hypertension, Isolation Precautions, Phlebotomy, Vaccine Administration
