MEMCO is seeking an Overhead Crane Operator in Jonesboro, GA!

Schedule: Tuesday-Friday; 6am-2:30pm

Pay: $20/hr

Job Overview

MEMCO is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Overhead Crane Operator . This role is essential in supporting daily production by safely moving and positioning large precast forms, molds, and materials within the facility. The ideal candidate is reliable, responsible, and takes pride in working efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities :

• Operate overhead cranes to lift, move, and position precast concrete forms, molds, and related materials.
• Inspect crane equipment and perform basic preventative maintenance checks before and after use.
• Follow all company and OSHA safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Communicate with ground crews and team members to coordinate lifts and material handling.
• Assist in the yard or production area as needed when crane operation is not required.
• Report any mechanical issues, malfunctions, or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications :

• Previous experience operating an overhead crane (in a manufacturing or construction setting preferred).
• Knowledge of rigging and safe load handling practices.
• Ability to read and follow instructions, signals, and safety procedures.
• Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Physically able to work in an industrial environment (standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs).
• Must be dependable with good attendance and punctuality.

A pre-employment drug screen will be required for all positions.
