**Job Title:** Low Voltage Electrician Technician **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled and motivated Low Voltage Electrician to join our team as a technician. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of low voltage electrical systems, with a primary focus on fire alarm and security systems in commercial and industrial settings. This individual will also be required to complete installation work. **Responsibilities** + Install, test, and maintain fire alarm systems and other low voltage systems such as security and access control. + Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. + Pull, terminate, and label low voltage wiring and cabling. + Program and configure fire alarm control panels and related devices. + Perform inspections to ensure systems comply with local codes. + Troubleshoot and repair system faults and malfunctions. + Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades on job sites. + Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. + Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients. **Essential Skills** + Minimum 5 years of experience in low voltage electrical work, preferably in fire alarm systems. + Working knowledge of codes. + Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. + Ability to provide own tools. + Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. + Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in confined spaces. + Capable of working in various environmental conditions (indoor/outdoor). **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Work with low voltage and high voltage is accepted but not required. + Specific industry training will assist with higher pay rate. + Experience in conduit, schematic, cable, power tool, pulling wire, installation, construction, repair, low voltage, fire alarm system, and security system. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy comprehensive company benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance. Be prepared to work in construction settings and potentially be exposed to outdoor elements. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Savannah, GA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
