About the job

Responsible for delivering an exceptional housekeeping service for our travelers in accordance with Grand Circle Cruise Line (GCCL) standards, while contributing to a positive work environment.

Responsibilities:

• leading, coordinating, supporting, motivating, training, and evaluating housekeeping staff

• responsible for daily cleaning and servicing of guest cabins

• monitoring and ensuring housekeeping service is up to the highest standards

• ensuring hygiene and maintenance of all cabins, laundry, and public areas are being upheld

• responsible for ordering and stock control of cleaning material together with Assistant Hotel Manager

• any other duties advised by Assistant Hotel Manager/Hotel Manager

Skills/Qualifications:

• hotel school diploma or basic education equivalent is preferred

• minimum 2 years of experience in the field of desired position, preferably on passenger ship or in a 4 or 5 star restaurant and/or hotel

• cruise ship experience is a plus

• proven leadership abilities and excellent communication skills

• strong organizational and computer skills

• willingness to learn and progress

• fluency in English
