Job Description

Craft New York is looking for their next Event Coordinator to join their growing team!

• Monitor and respond quickly to inbound event inquiries via phone, email, and TripleSeat
• Create and maintain Banquet Event Orders, Contracts and other event documentation capturing all pertinent event details
• Conduct walkthroughs with potential clients
• Work closely with management to create all printed materials for confirmed events

Qualifications:

• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate next steps, take initiative, exercise discretion and build trust with clients and prospects
• Experience managing time-sensitive projects with short lead times with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel, Word and Power Point)
• Basic knowledge of fine dining service, cuisine and beverages
• Captain or Server experience in a fine dining restaurant is strongly preferred
