Job Title: ETL / Conversion Tester
Location: Remote
Duration: Long-term Contract
The Project: You will be acting as the "quality gatekeeper" for a massive data migration. Your main goal is to validate data conversion across Member, Provider, and Claims domains. You will be testing backend databases, validating file formats (XML, JSON, Flat files), and ensuring healthcare EDI standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Migration Testing: Execute comprehensive test cases for ETL processes, regression, and integration.
Data Validation: Use complex SQL queries to validate data flow, storage, and transformation rules.
Analysis: Perform root cause analysis on defects and troubleshoot data discrepancies.
Standards: Work with healthcare EDI standards (specifically 837, 835, 834).
Required Skills:
Strong background in ETL and Data Warehouse testing.
Proficiency in SQL (ability to write queries for data manipulation and validation).
Experience with various file formats (Delimited, Fixed, XML, JSON).
Healthcare Domain Experience: Specifically with Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) or similar payer systems.
