Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models
Translate business requirements into data structures
Define entities, attributes, relationships, and constraints
Work closely with business analysts, architects, and developers
Ensure data models follow data governance and standards
Optimize data models for performance and scalability
Support data warehousing, reporting, and analytics
Maintain metadata and data dictionaries
Review and improve existing data models
Data modeling techniques (ER modeling, normalization)
Databases: Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL
SQL (strong knowledge)
Data modeling tools:
ERwin
ER/Studio
PowerDesigner
Lucidchart / Visio
Understanding of:
OLTP & OLAP systems
Data Warehousing (Star/Snowflake schemas)
