Commercial Superintendent: (Must have 5 years construction superintendent experience)

NEW CONSTRUCTION and REMODELING

Commercial Construction Onsite Management experience with projects ranging from $1-50 Million. Schools, Churches, Detention Facilities, Manufacturing, Office, etc.

Main Job Task And Responsibilities

• Coordinates and supervises all onsite construction project activities.
• Directs all field personnel, subcontractors, an material suppliers to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications.
• Maintains construction schedule, identifies and solves problems.
• Orders materials and schedules inspections as necessary throughout the process.
• Understands the project plans and specifications, project layout.
• Maintains positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees.
• Promotes job site safety, encourages safe work practices and rectifies job site hazards immediately.
• Ensures all company employees and contractors are adhering to the company safety policy.
• Maintains an organized and clean job site.
• May wear tool belt and perform misc carpentry work, steel erection, welding, and misc work.

• A self-starter, highly motivated, and goal oriented individual.
• Displays strong written and oral communication skills and employs effective listening skills.
• Analyzes problems and makes sound decisions in a timely manner based on objectives, risks, implications and costs.
• 5+ years hands on knowledge in building and construction projects >$1M.
• Ability to schedule and multitask.
• Tactful and mature demeanor with well developed interpersonal skills including the ability to work well with, train, manage and supervise diverse personalities.
• Experienced in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, and production of all phases of construction.
• Experienced in managing multiple projects
• Projects may require travel
