The Clinical Assistant II is a senior level clinician who provides clinical and administrative support to physicians and surgeons. This individual coordinates patient care by serving as a liaison between physicians, patients, families, internal/external healthcare providers, homecare providers and insurance companies. The Clinical Assistant II is expected to support one or more physician and surgeon and should demonstrate a comfort level with high volume practice(s), with the possibility of multi-site travel. This individual mentors and trains less experienced Medical Assistant and Clinical Assistant staff and may act in a lead capacity.

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $31.0338 - $39.4982 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need.
